These reports and studies were prepared in response to requests from Governor Gabriel Slaughter. Included is the report of the commissioners appointed to study the Louisville and Portland Turnpike Company's compliance with the law authorizing them to build a road, along with a letter and a financial statement from the company. Also included are listings of justices of the peace in Daviess and Adair Counties.
